My words at first were unfulfilled,
their meaning lost within the crowd.
like ripples merge when they collide,
my ocean seems much calmer now.
I build my verse upon the tide
and cast my ink-webbed net no more.
I used to drag it through the waves
to catch the schools of trailing thoughts.
I’ll look for those that float with life
and link them with my verse and rhyme.
I’ll sail across to far and wide;
soon all the seas will be entwined.
There’s still more for me in this world,
and someday I’ll inherit her.
For now I’ll be no more than this;
the voice of a developer.
