Without your light I fail from sight,
I shrink into the dim.
And in this dull I trip and fall;
so far I tumble in.
Without your air I breathe despair,
I swallow gulps of fear.
And in this angst I can’t relax
nor see, nor smell, nor hear.
Without your love I fall apart.
And, without you, my heart won’t start.
Like Autumn leaves fall from their trees,
I’ll lay amongst. Come gather me.
