Summer’s woe

Come summer breeze, deburden me
of words I cannot muster.
Come golden silence, riddle me
with words I cannot not utter.

Come summer sun, enlighten me
with oh so joyous laughter.
Come smiling eyes, now fall on me
and we shall smile together.

Come summer nights, envelope me
in peace and sole tranquillity.
Come drifting darkness, shadow me
within your sweet simplicity.

Come summer days, return to me
when winter settles in.
Come dying light, entrust in me
those feelings held within.
